Job Description

T-Rex is seeking a Clinical Care Product Manager to support the oversight of the clinical products through a products Life Cycle, from ideation to distribution and in support of healthcare management technology to military treatment facilities (MTF). Product Managers are responsible for the success of a product and work to ensure that products meet customer expectations as well as business requirements. Accordingly, the candidate will work closely with government staff and technology vendor to sustain and improve the electronic health records system.

The PEO Defense Healthcare Management System (DHMS) is transforming the delivery of health care and advance data sharing through a modernized electronic health record for service members, veterans, and their families. The Workforce 3.0 program within DHMS is a managed solution that leverages innovative new processes, methods, and best-in-class methodologies from the private sector to enable the entire PEO DHMS workforce to deliver world-class technology. The DHMS systems provide important health IT capabilities to 9.6 million active-duty military, their families, and their beneficiaries. Responsibilities:

  • Review new intake requests with the team members with key stakeholders to provide situational awareness of new work.
  • Attend key meetings to include:
    • Planning meetings for new clinical capability
    • Release Working Group as a working level forum to discuss, develop, and align joint release strategy and document, coordinate, and de-conflict future release
    • Scrums and Integrated Product Team meetings
  • Identify customer needs and clinical pain points
  • Define a vision and strategy for clinical products
  • Create a product road mapping and outlining the goals and objectives
  • Communicate and influence outcomes related to clinical capabilities
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to provide value alignment to increase project success
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as design, engineering, communications
  • Monitor and analyze product performance, customer feedback, and analytical analysis on metrics to support the product
  • Think critically to solve problems quickly and effectively

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of professional experience in Product Management, Health Informatics, SaFE Agile, or similar field
  • Clinical experience, as a Nurse or patient care professional
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a larger team
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desired Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or another similar discipline
  • Experience developing or delivering technical scope of work
  • Experience in the health IT industry
  • Experience at the Defense Health Agency

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $75,000 - $175,000. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. T-Rex considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
